ABSTRACT
This
work discusses influence of class size on the effective teaching and learning
of history in senior secondary schools. A hundred and twenty questionnaires
were distributed among students and teachers. Interviews and surveys were also
conducted.
Primary
and secondary data were used in the analysis. Tables and percentages were used
as the instrument of analysis
It
was observed therefore that class size has a significant influence on the
effective teaching and learning of history in senior secondary schools. Also
there is a strong relationship between class size and effective teaching and
learning in senior secondary schools.
